Visit the building where the foundation of atomic physics and modern physics were created. Built in 1925 as a residence for Niels Bohr and his family, it became the heart of the Niels Bohr Institute, where Bohr and his colleagues sparked a scientific revolution. On this tour, you will visit Niels Bohr’s study where the world’s physicists gathered, calculated, debated, and shared coffee with Niels Bohr and his wife. The tour is led by historians from the Niels Bohr Archive (NBA), an independent institution that holds extensive archival material documenting the life and work of Niels Bohr, the institute that he established and the tradition that he created.
