The conference offers a small number of fellowships for assisting delegates from the countries listed below to attend the ESERA 2025 Conference in Copenhagen. Only  delegates with an accepted proposal for presentation at the conference can become eligible to receive one of these fellowships. Find the list of eligible countries below. These have been selected by the ESERA Executive Board based on their GDP per capita and the current situation regarding local support for researchers.

Fellows will be waived the conference registration fee (either partially or fully, depending on the number of applications). It is also possible to request support for local accommodation.

We particularly encourage early career researchers to apply for fellowships.

Eligibility conditions

To be eligible,

1. you must work in one of the eligible countries (see below),
2. you must be a member of ESERA,
3. your proposal for the ESERA conference has been accepted

If your professional research affiliation is in one of these countries and you have submitted a proposal to present at ESERA 2025 we would encourage you to apply for a Fellowship by this registration form: ESERA2025_Fellowship_Application. The Fellowship application must be received by 21st of April 2025. You should include two documents with your submission: (1) a one page CV and (2) two professional reasons why your request for a fellowship should be considered (maximum of 150
words per reason).

Please note: If you have applied for a fellowship, do not register until you have received a decision mail as it is not possible to get a refund. Decision mails will be sent out before the early bird deadline.
